How does xcharta work?

xcharta is an extraction platform for complex data visuals. It combines deep learning and computer vision to accurately identify and extract data from charts, tables, and other data-heavy visuals. Its technology seamlessly handles large and complex document sets and converts data visuals into usable, numerical data, all with one API request or document upload. The extracted data is returned either in JSON or data table format via the API, or available for download as an Excel file from the web-app, making it easy for companies to integrate into their workflows.

Who should use xcharta?

xcharta is ideal for any company that deals with complex document sets containing data-heavy visuals, such as charts or infographics. The platform is particularly suited to organisations experimenting with AI-enabled knowledge management implementations who are finding they are limited by low accuracy LLM results. For example, some customers use xcharta to accurately extract from their historic documents, feeding the extracted data into a database which is then accessed by an LLM or knowledge management tool.

What are the benefits of using xcharta?

xcharta helps enterprises unlock the full potential of AI-enabled knowledge management, overcoming the limitations of using LLMs alone. With xcharta, you can:

  • - Extract from data visuals with pixel-level precision
  • - Save analysts in your company days of time every month through improved searchability and availability of critical data
  • - Return results in a standardised, consistent format - ready to feed into a database to be interpreted by LLMs or knowledge tools
  • - Seamlessly integrate xcharta's functionality into your document workflows

What document types can xcharta read?

xcharta supports most common document types, including .pdf, .png, .jpg, .pptx and .docx

What format do I get the extracted data in?

The extracted data is returned either in JSON or data table format via the API, or available for download as an Excel file from the web-app.
